Marty Springer received the Wright Brothers Master Pilots Award for demonstrating professionalism, skill and aviation expertise by maintaining safe operations for 50 or more years. The award presentation was held on March 10 at the Great Wall Restaurant in Bedford, MA. He was joined by members of his family, friends and former Raytheon colleagues.

The 16th annual Aviation Safety Group of Massachusetts and FAA Safety Team awards banquet was held on June 4th at Lombardo’s in Randolph.  Nearly 100 aviation professionals and enthusiasts spent an entertaining evening recognizing individuals and/or organizations for their participation in enhancing aviation safety.  Here are this year’s recipients:
